DataWrangler by CLOCworks.Built by engineers, delivered by analysts.
Founded in Madison, Wisconsin in 2019, DataWrangler helps school districts, commercial facilities, and industrial plants cut their electric bills by 10-25% through precision metering and utility billing analysis. Since 2022, our clients have saved more than $25 million.
Started by engineers, not marketers.
CLOCworks was founded in April 2019 in Madison, Wisconsin by a group of engineers determined to use their technical skills to combat climate change. The team is led by CEO Jim Koeppe, CTO Joel Haynie, and Lead Software Architect Daniel Armendariz, with combined decades of experience in semiconductors, wireless communications, IoT, cloud infrastructure, and clean tech.
DataWrangler is the software platform that grew out of that mission. It was built for large commercial energy users: school districts, water treatment plants, and manufacturing facilities that pay for electricity in ways most people never see.
Today DataWrangler serves 90+ organizations across Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois. Every savings report is reviewed by a real energy analyst before it goes out.
